It's just really hard to imagine pediatricians in mass vaccinating (and potentially killing) kids. I have a 14 year old healthy son and he had his well visit the other day. I went in ready to defend my no vaccine stance, had all the facts about the Pfizer trials, etc. His pediatrician hardly even mentioned the shot. Just asked at the very end if we wanted it (or the flue shot), I said no, and he was like, ok, great, see you next year. I really thought he would pressure us. So interesting. So I guess the answer to my own question is that maybe pediatricians aren't pressuring...it's the parents who are demanding the shots. My own stepson is desperate to jab his 7 month old. It's our people, not our medical establishment that is damaged. Or both, but still, at some point if this gets really bad, maybe pediatricians will have to tell angry parents, no - I'm not giving your healthy kid this shot.
