One of the important parts of treating Covid is to not treat fever. Let me explain.
When you get Covid, fever is your friend. This is how you immune system fights the infection. As Hippocrates said: “Give me a (way to induce) fever, and I can cure any disease.” By treating fever with a drug, you are likley to extend the duartion of Covid. More specifically, don't treat adult oral fever up to 102 F. Above 104 F, do treat it. From 102-104 F, decide on a case by case basis. If you do treat the fever, you can first try cold towels on the forehead. If that does not work, give half the recommended dose of an anti-fever drug. As soon as the fever goes below the accepatble threshold, stop treating it.
Wonderful have to such a high authority speaking out and influencing colleagues. I have very little hope for the U.S. where just about everyone in the Healthcare system is in denial to one degree or another and won't be convinced because they don't want to be convinced. There's too much at stake for them and the system has done a good job of fear and intimidation. Just look the other way and hope it goes away. Not until something happens to one of them or someone they actually care about unlike their patients who they seem to have little or no care for. So much for patient advocacy.
I would have liked more discussion around-why was it necessary at all---after all it was known from April 2020 that under 50s were at almost no risk and children had a 99.9987% survival chance-according to Ioannidis whom you quote--so why was it forced on society?. Over 80s at high risk of adverse events, under 50s at low risk from the virus----

It was reported 25th November 2022 by Denmark's Radio, that only one in five Danish health workers have received the free influenza vaccine.
