I'm a tenured faculty member at a university in New York City. I recently emailed my chair to tell him I will not be getting a booster because of the neurological symptoms I developed after my second shot (tremors, twitching fingers and toes, weakness in my extremities, difficulty writing by hand, and texting). I'd add that I had zero hesitation to get the vaccine and didn't attribute my symptoms to the vaccine until months later when I understood that these symptoms and worse occurred at a population level.
